Head Dental Nurse
Nicola is the Head Dental Nurse at our Rochester practice, bringing over two decades of experience and expertise to the clinical team. Having qualified as a Dental Nurse in 1999, she has dedicated her career to providing exceptional clinical support and ensuring the highest standards of patient care.
While she possesses a broad range of experience across all aspects of general dentistry, Nicola has developed a particular expertise in Orthodontics. She also works closely with our Hygienists and clinicians to support restorative treatments, including composite bonding. Nicola finds it incredibly rewarding to witness the physical and emotional transformations in her patients, noting that there is nothing quite like seeing a patient’s confidence soar when their treatment is complete.
Nicola is deeply passionate about patient comfort. She understands that a visit to the dentist can be daunting for some, and she takes great pride in her ability to put patients at ease. She has a natural talent for supporting younger patients, using a gentle and reassuring approach to help them feel comfortable and relaxed throughout their visits. For Nicola, the most motivating part of her role is seeing those final transformations and the smiles of satisfied patients.
Away from the clinic, Nicola leads a busy and active life. She is a keen fan of motorsport, frequently attending car shows and following motorbike racing. When she isn’t at the track, she enjoys the quieter pace of reading, cooking, and spending time with her family.
